HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I am still not up to speed on being a good blogger...but in case you stop by,
Have a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!  May 2010 bring you and your family greater health and more wealth!

My goals for 2010?  I am back to doing Stampin' Up! FULL TIME again!  YEAH!!!  I really missed the thrill of doing what I LOVE every time I go to work!  Watch for things to start really moving along on this blog after I return from the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference!   I'll leave on Wednesday, Jan. 6, and return on Sunday, Jan  10.  I'll add photos etc the following week!

What are YOUR GOALS for 2010?  Let me know so we can support each other!

Hugs, Karie B.

Links & Locks

Links - Today I added a few links to this blog.  It's kind of fun to find out what I can do by myself.  I have added a shopping link so you can order Stampin' Up! products and view a few of the catalogs right from here!  I will be adding the new Definitely Decorative, Occasions, & Sale-A-Bration mini catalogs as soon they are available for customers....approximately January 5th.  That's the day before I leave for Leadership so if you don't see the link on time, I will get it uploaded as soon as I get back.  In the meantime you can go to my SU website by clicking the photo of me stampin' while on cruise! (left)

Locks - Yesterday I finally went and cut my very long hair.  I totally forgot my camera!  ARGH!  But my hair was growing out after a very bad perm by a 'new guy' back in 2006.  I couldn't decide what to do and was pulling it back in a pony tail for the last . . . well, year I think!  I couldn't take it any more and finally went to my preferred stylist, William (Figo Salon - Birmingham Michigan).  He gave me an easy layered look that is just slightly past my shoulders.  I will add a photo to this post later on, after I fix it again and have someone take my picture.  Not all that exciting, but after loosing 6 inches off the length, it's blog worthy LOL  (Of course totally unrelated to stamping, scrapping, or crafting since I have no before photos!  bummer!

So I begin . . .

I am not really ready to be a blogger just yet, but it is one of my 2010 goals.  So, just in case you happen upon my blog and wonder why it is so empty....that's why.

Before I do too much advertising about my blog I'd like to learn how to use.  Be patient, keep checking, and soon I hope to have samples posted, links to my Stampin' Up! website for shopping and Stamp Sell-er events.  In the meantime, you can go to my Stampin' Up! site using this URL  http://www.kariebeglau.stampinup.net  where you can order products 24/7 or just see some samples.

For now, here's small sample of things that happen at the Stamp Sell-er (which is in the basement of my home).  You may not be able to see all the space I have all that clearly, like the 3 8-foot tables, 6-foot & 5-foot tables, or the Sizzix Station, Embossing Station, Samples and so much more....but at least you can see that it's FUN!!

The above, and below, layouts were created in the new My Digital Studio program from Stampin' Up!  OH SO COOL!  I never thought I'd like digital scapbooking...I like to play with papers and card stocks...but it is really fun and fast for those piles of photos I just don't know when I will get too!

Here's a few more pages you might enjoy for now....

This 2nd layout used the same template as above, just a quick color change!  It was my moment in the spot light at the Regional Conference on September 11, 2009 in Ohio.  What an honor to be asked to share what is called a "Workshop Wow" with the attending demonstrators (only about 500 at this event...did I say only?? LOL).  I taught how to do faux suede using the Build-a-bear Sizzix dies.  Although the paper dolls & doll holder seemed to be the most popular, I admit that my favorite was my card that is called "Saturday Night Fe-BEAR"  I loved the chunky glitter for the disco ball, and turning the BABW bear into John Tra-BEAR-ta was a blast...all the way down to his white patten leather shoes!  It's kinda hard to see in this shot, but I can bring it with me when you have your party if you'd like!

This third page spread using the same layout yet again....I am not kidding when I say MY DIGITAL STUDIO is EZ to use!  LOVE It!  And I really do LOVE being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator too!  This only shows a very few of my reasons for loving it...but the list is always growing and growing . . . wanna learn more about this fun way to earn money and/or products??  check my Stampin' Up! Website at www.kariebeglau.stampinup.net, or send me an email with your questions to Memoryinkers@att.net

I know these photos aren't perfect, but as I said, I am still learning all this blog stuff and I hope you will come back to my site and watch for updates. I plan to add techniques and tips for you to enjoy as well as some kits for fun projects you can purchase, or attend a class to make them yourself!

In the mean time, let me know what you think.  My email is MemoryINKers@att.net.
