Watch & Weight Wednesday

Faux Suede Flower

I love the look of the flower on this card.  It looks, and feels, soft and feminine.

Here's a closer look....

It’s also much easier to make than you might think.  Watch the video below to learn how to make this fun flower yourself . . . . . and check in my weight loss journey!

The Stamp Sell-er

Got Card Stock?

I thought I’d share a portion of my craft space.  It's my favorite area of the Stamp Sell-er.  I love having all of my colors together by category.  Sometimes I just sit and stare at it…aaaahhhh.

 Go Ahead...try it....Oooooohhhh, Aaaaaahhhhh!
Fun isn't it?

I also have a nice collection of Designer Series Papers.  This sits on top of a storage cabinet that houses my computer papers…AND the file drawers are where I have my scraps!  I keep them in Ziplock bags, in file folders, in alphabetical order by color!

When you crop or take a class at my house you can use these scraps free of charge!  I’ll share more fun areas in the future…but you should come on over and see it for yourself!

My Digital Monday

Blog Signatures

Have you noticed that I have a variety of blog signatures?  I created each of them with My Digital Studio!  Sometimes it’s just a stamp with my sign off line (Hugs, Karie Beglau) like these:

They are VERY SIMPLE to create!  Just be sure you background is white (on your blog too) and create!  Once they are posted they look seamless!

Some are a combination of a few stamps & punches layered, like this:

Some take a little more work by combining punches to create an item like the video camera in this signature:

I admit it, that one is my favorite!  It was so fun to piece together the circles, squares, shadows, etc to create a camera.

Which One Is YOUR Favorite??

Sunday School

While I was trying to pick a song for you this week that would edify your spirit, I remembered an album that I loved back in the 70's.  It's called:

The Plan
by The Osmonds.

As I looked it up on YouTube, I found myself singing along to each video.  Yet, no one song quite told the whole story.  When I found this promotional video I thought it might do.  But to really get the concept you need to GET THIS ALBUM!! (I guess it would be a CD these days).

The idea of the album is to teach us all about the Lord's plan for us as we came to earth.  The songs portray what we, and the world, might be going through in our lifetime;  Birth, Love, Confusion, Strife, finding Christ, and the struggle we face as we try to do what we need to do to be ready to return Home.

Christ gave us a gift....but not everyone accepts it...and not everyone who does knows what to do with it.  There's a Plan.  We just have to follow it and not let anyone or anything, get us off path!

May today help you on your journey as we all are, in fact, preparing ourselves for going Home.

Saturday Scrap

Scrapbook in a
Round Box!

I love those little wedges of cheese!   They are yummy and low in calories too!  But I knew I could do something with those great boxes they come in.

What do you think?

The inside pages are held together with ribbon so you can just lift and the pages comes out of the box!

The pages are double sided.
Here’s what they look like:

I hope you will give this a try!  I have given them away to friends and family and they have loved them!  I have even seen them out on end tables and office desks!  Ya gotta love when a gift is actually used!

See you tomorrow!
