Stamp Of The Month 4

Avery

I love the Moroccan Bizarre feel of this one. The DSP really added the flavor and the style of the bird cage works too.  You can't tell from the photo, but the bird cage is stamped onto a window sheet and cut out before adhering over the stamped bird image using a brad!

This one takes a little thinking to get the birds inside the cages the way you want them to look.  I wanted them all centered, but as you can see the owl is not.  In the end I loved that about it!  Once again proving my point that Perfection IS Overrated! LOL

Sock In The Mail

Holiday Stocking
Greeting Card

I really love the Stocking die and knew I wanted to created a card with it.  So, here's what I came up with.

I needed to create a custom envelope so I decided to line it with DSP.

What you cannot see in the photo is that the stocking does open.  I place the folded piece of card stock on the die so that the fold was just a smidge from the cutting line at that top of the stocking.  The fold is then hidden behind the top band.

I hope you liked this one!

Until Next Time…

Playing Chicken

My Crazy Husband

My husband loves to have fun!  He always finds ways to make me laugh, usually while I am shaking my head.  LOL  The other day he told me a story about this crazy chicken noise a few people at work make when it's close to the end of the shift.  So . . . he decided he wanted to have a chicken 'hat' to wear just to make everyone laugh.  Here's what he came up with:

And Here's My Hen Pecked Honey
in his new hat!  TOO FUNNY!!!

Stamp Of The Month #4

This Week I have been sharing all the projects from November’s Stamp Of The Month Club.

There is only one month left of the ‘old style’ Club Kits.  I will continue to share the projects, but the kits are going to be pretty different in 2013.

This month we used the Watercolor Winter stamp set.  Here’s the forth and last project from November.

It’s another Birthday Card, but of course just changing the sentiment makes it anything you’d like!

The colors used are Whisper White and Wisteria Wonder.  I also used some of the medium size Basic Pearls and the Beautiful Birthday stamp.

Be sure to come back again to see more projects!

Stamp 0f the Month is…

Stamp Of The Month #3

This Week I will be sharing all the projects from November’s Stamp Of The Month Club.

There is only one month left of the ‘old style’ Club Kits.  I will continue to share the projects, but the kits are going to be pretty different in 2013.

This month we used the Watercolor Winter stamp set.  Here’s the third project.

This time it’s a Birthday Card!  The colors used are So Saffron, and Calypso Coral.  I hope you can see in the photo that I stamped the outline flower image in So Saffron ink all over the background (on Whisper White) before I stamped the solid flower image in Calypso Coral.  I also used the Calypso Coral ruffled ribbon, the Wide Oval punch & Scallop Oval punch (I used three of them cut to mat the sentiment), and the sentiment is from the Perfect Punches stamp set.

Be sure to come back tomorrow to see project #4

This Week I will be sharing all the projects from November’s Stamp Of The Month Club.

There is only one month left of the ‘old style’ Club Kits.  I will continue to share the projects, but the kits are going to be pretty different in 2013.

In November we used the Watercolor Winter stamp set.  Here’s the second project.

The card is also a Christmas Greeting.  The colors used are Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, and Whisper White.  I also used the Big Shot along with one of the Delicate Designs Folders and the Large Scallop Edgelits.  Add a little Dazzling Diamonds for that oh so important Bling and you’re done!

Be sure to come back tomorrow to see project #3
