Welcome to another Global Stampin’
Friends Hop! This month our them is ‘love’
and that is so appropriate with Valentine’s Day just under 2 weeks away.
All three of my projects use the
Bloomin’ Love stamp set and the Bloomin’ Hearts Thinlits. As you may already be aware, this is my
favorite ‘love’ bundle. Paring it with
the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP) really adds to the
beauty.
I love the simple elegance of
this card. I know it has a lot of bling,
but with plain Whisper White background it keeps it classy. The heart cut from the Myths & Magic
Glimmer paper and I love the way the three colors worked together. It is attached to the card front with Stampin’
Dimensionals.
This card may be a complete
opposite of the first one. It is busy
and borders the edge of ‘too much’ but I love it. The Rhinestone Basics Jewels are colored with the Stampin’
Blends markers in Daffodil Delight-Dark and Rich Razzleberry-Dark. The
background card stock is Melon Mambo.
My Crazy Idea – I always post a
video on Friday or Saturday and I wanted to do something different for this hop. So….drum roll please….I decided to create
this card while I taped myself making it for the first time. No do-overs. Is it perfect? No, but it came out pretty good with my
estimated measurements. Playing while we
create is one of the best parts of what we do.
