Sunday School

Sunday School
to inspire your Spirit

As a Christian, I choose not to work on Sunday.  Although my blog is scheduled and I am not actually creating this post today; I still have a strong belief that we all need to take a break for the Sabbath Day.  Each week my Sunday post will change from inspiring your creativity, to inspiring your spirit.  I hope you enjoy the messages presented here each week.

Fall Fun

Happy 1st
Day of Fall!

Time for the sound of crunching the leaves under our feet and stampin’ with friends! I love stampin’ in the fall. Apparently you do to, it’s one of the busiest times in my Stampin’ Up! Business. Have you scheduled your workshop yet? Send me an email (MemoryINKers@att.net) or call/text me at 248-990-1886 to save a date for you and your friends!

Here’s a quick card sample to celebrate the day! Using the amazing stamp set, Lovely As A Tree. The leaves were colored with markers to create that fall color.

Hope you like it!

Until Next Time . . .

Special Stampin' Up! Workshop 2

Stacked Apples

Here is the 2nd make and take project from that Special Stampin' Up! Workshop.  All the projects were designed by Stampin' Up! and I think this one was my favorite.

It uses Summer Starfruit cards as it's base, but can you see the woodgrain textured piece behind the sentiment?  It adds such a nice finished look, don't you think?  the Textured Embossing Folder can be found in the Holiday Catalog!  It's items # 127821 for $7.95

What you cannot see in this photos is that the apples are actually folded in half so they pop up a bit.  Underneath them is the image that is a patterned apple design stamped in Gumball Green.

This card was a bit time consuming but so worth the effort!

Until Next Time . . .

Stampin' Up!'s Special Workshop Projects 1

Spritz It!

Here are two of the FUN projects that were a part of the Special Stampin' Up! Workshop that I was invovled with.

The card bases are our wonderful Note Cards (pack of 20 w/envelopes).  I added the matting before we spritz'd onto another piece of Whisper White Card stock.

How did we do it?  The letters and numbers were cut using the Big Shot and the Typeset Alphabet die.  They were layed on top of the card stock before spritzing.  When you remove the cut pieces the negative space looks so cute!  Once they dried we stamped the sentiments from Friendly Phrases.  For that finishing touch, some Brights buttons tied with Bakers Twine!

Until Next  time...

I am often asked about my beliefs.  One question people want to know is what's it like inside the temple?  It's a place of learning, of place of prayer, a place of peace.  This video shares some photos from the inside of many of the temples around the world.  I hope you enjoy it.
