Sunday School

Sunday School
to inspire your Spirit

As a Christian, I choose not to work on Sunday.  Although my blog is scheduled and I am not actually creating this post today; I still have a strong belief that we all need to take a break for the Sabbath Day.  Each week my Sunday post will change from inspiring your creativity, to inspiring your spirit.  I hope you enjoy the messages presented here each week.

Today’s Message is from:

Singing; "I Need Thee Every Hour"

Templates Video

Save Money & Time!

Are you like me?  Do you get tired of cutting paper and card stock while creating only to change your mind about the size or shape?

The answer is - Templates!

I saw this idea at a scrapbook show last month.  The company was selling plastic templates that you could use to design, then trace & cut out the shapes.  I loved the idea, but who wants to cut stuff out these days?  Not me! Now I have the solution!

I think you'll find that the time you invest in creating your templates will be worth the saved time, frustration, and lack of wasted paper & card stock.  Since I created mine my creativity is flowing faster, and I feel the freedom to take chances.  After all, if I don't like it I just grab a different template and try again!

I hope you enjoy this idea!  See you tomorrow!

Saturday Scrap

Is it a card, or a Scrapbook?

This is such a fun idea.  We created one similar for a Hostess Club project a few months ago...but at the last meeting with my team my downline member, Sue Pavlak, shared this fun idea with us.
The Outside
Inside One
Inside Two
Inside Three
Inside Four

Isn't that a great gift idea?  It's a great Grad Gift, Grandma's Brag Book, etc.  It's made with a 12" piece of card stock, folded in quarters, slit on one of the folds (6" into center).  Attach it to a 6" x 12" 'card'.  Then just decorate it to suit your personality

I hope you come back tomorrow for a Spiritual Inspiration!

Fancy Pants Class

Do you like when things are over the top?
Than this class if for you!

First let me show the card my hostesses made at their luncheon that was a nod to a Fancy Pants Class....then I'll show you what's coming up in the next class!

This card would be something that would be done at a Fancy Pants Class...but not necessarily the 'star' of the class.  I will make a video for this technique for next week...check it out on Wednesday!

Below is a photo of a project that YOU CAN MAKE in the next class.
Along with the cool table decoration, you will make a variety of cards that are a little more advanced.  This class is NOT for a novice stamper.

You can sign up for the next Fancy Pants Class today!

As promised . . .

More Hostess Samples!

Each card that the hostesses created at their luncheon showcased different classes that I teach.  This one is something that would be made in a Stack Attack Class.

It's pretty simple and quick.  The center image is stamped in Stazon ink and then colored using Watercolor Crayons and Blender Pens.

At a Stack Attach class each guest would create 10 cards, 2 each of 5 designs, for just $15.  It's not too late to sign up for the next Stack Attack.  You have three class times to choose from:

Thursday, June 21st at 11 AM,
Thursday, June 21st at 6 PM, or
Saturday, June 23rd at 11 AM

Sign up by clicking the paypal link below.

Hope you'll come back to see more projects tomorrow!

Watch Me Wednesday

I know I promised more photos of the Hostess Lunch projects, but it's Watch Me Wednesday so it's video time!

Rubber Bands On Wheels!

This week I was inspired by one of the new demonstrators on my team.  She brought a project with rubber bands on a brayer,  a classic and cool technique, as a swap to our team meeting last Saturday (yes, after the Hostess Luncheon). From her design I came up with a twist on the idea.
I hope you like it!

Hostesses Rock!

Hostess Club
Held last Saturday 6/2/2012

As promised, here are a few photos from the lunch I served to my hostesses.  As usual, I got wrapped up in socializing and didn't take many photos...DUH!

We do have to squeeze in, but nobody seems to mind...or at least the laughter, chatting, and smiles seems to indicate as much.

I neglected to take any photos of the food, but we had Chicken Parmagiana with Penne and salad.  For dessert, Red Velvet cupcakes & 3 kinds of Cheese Cake  YUM!!

Check out the next few days for samples of the projects we made.

Oops

Sorry I have been MIA for a few days, I have been over busy and am playing catch up.  It may take me a week or two to get back to everyday posts, but know that I am working on some samples to share and videos to post.

Thank you for your continued support.  I really appreciate it!
