Modern Mosaic

Modern Mosaic

As promised, here is the January Stamp Of The Month Club projects using the Modern Mosaic stamp set.  I love that face that this set has a matching punch and a matching Textured Embossing Folder.  Yes, it even has matching Designer Series Paper, but you'll notice that I didn't use any of it for these designs.  The club girls tell me they like to when I do something unexpected, and they expected the DSP...so nope, I didn't use it!

Above I used markers to color the punches mosaics
& part of the sentiment.

It's hard to see in this picture, but I did use the
Textured Embossing Folder on this card.
The 9 larger mosaics are punched out and the smaller
ones are stamped onto the textured card stock.

When was the last time you used a Stamp-a-ma-jig?
I love using mine and it was perfect for this fun design.

FUN!  This one uses stamps & framelits from
the Celebrate the Season catalog.

Until next time . . .

Feeding Stingrays at Stampin' Up! Managers Reception

Feeding Stingrays!

Just some fun pictures from the Manager’s Event at Leadership a few weeks ago.  I was able to feed some little stingrays a minnow.  It literally had my whole hand in it’s mouth.  It was gross…but kinda cool too.  It was like having my hand scrubbed with a sponge.

We also had a short train ride that went through a tube where we had sharks swimming all around us.  I am terrified of sharks so I tried not to think about what would happen if the barrier broke.  Check out the teeth on the second picture....YIKES!!

There was also a ton of food at this event, however, I had been sick and knew the rich yummies would not be a good idea for me.  Bummer.

The restaurant had a large aquarium in the center with several windows to look through.  The divers were fun...and liked to interact with us as we took photos.

Until next time…

They even have the cutest little monster bottom!  Tip: Be sure to write on the back before attaching the candy!

They have a strip of adhesive on the ‘belly’ of the monster that can hold candy!

Leadership Conference

Welcome Back!

I know, I know, it’s been a while since I’ve added a post.  As many of you know I started working a full time job and to say that I hit a wall would be an understatement.  Luckily, I believe I have broken that barrier and I am able to get back to more consistent posting again!  Thank You for you Loyalty and Patience!

I thought I’d start with a few photos from the Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference a few weeks ago.  I know my photos are not super clear, these were all taken off the Jumbo-tron screen, but I didn't want you to miss the awesome ideas.

We were so thrilled to see Shelli WALK onto the stage.  She received a standing ovation...a long one.  Yes, she cried, as did most of the demonstrators (yep, me too!).   The only thing better...watching Shelli stamp & share her projects.  Here are just a few of them...Enjoy!

I plan to add many of these projects to my upcoming classes.  I hope you'll join me soon!
