He Said -
She Said
I always hear that people are looking for more 'guy' cards but they can't seem to get a handle on how to do it. I am not all that great at it myself, but I have found that using a template helps me with switching it up!
Here's the template I designed
The Girl Card
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Stippled Blossoms (w-#126745 C-#126747)
Card Stock: Primrose Petals (#126841), Pink Pirouette(#111351), and Whisper White (#100730)
INKs: Primrose Petals (#126858), Pink Pirouette (#126956), Certainly Celery (#126958), and Old Olive (#126953)
Accessories: Stitched Satin Ribbon (Primrose Petals #126844), Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons (#127555), SNAIL adhesive (#104332 Refil #104331), Crystal Effects (#101055), Big Shot Machine (#113439), Textured Impressions Embossing Folder: Lacy Brocade (#127819) and Framelit Die: Window Frames Collection (#129021)
The Guy Card
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Lovely As A Tree (w-#115026 C-#127793)
Card Stock: Soft Suede (#115318) and River Rock (#108640)
Many Marvelous Markers: (#119806) River Rock and Soft Suede
INKs: Soft Suede (#126978), River Rock (#126077)
Accessories: Linen Thread (#104199), SNAIL adhesive (#104332 Refil #104331), Crystal Effects (#101055), Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) Big Shot Machine (#113439), Textured Impression Embossing Folder: Woodgrain (#127821),and Bigz Die: Autumn Accents (#127812)
FYI: I cut the dies out twice and lightly trimmed the River Rock pieces to fit inside the Soft Suede pieces. I also drew in the veins on each leaf.
I hope you liked this template. Let me know if you used it, and please share you ideas! I'd love to see them. I will even post them if you are willing to let others see what you did! (I do need your permission to do it...otherwise it's tacky LOL)
Until Next Time....
