Barn Door Stamp Set

Everyone loves the Barn Door stamp set and matching Sliding Door Framelits Dies!  I know many of you have seen this fun design, in the 2018 Occasions catalog yet I wanted to remind you that we do not need to re-invent designs.  Here is my verson of the card found on page 43.

Lots of Lavendar - ICS Sale-a-bration Hop

Another Blog Hop today, this time with the ICS-Inspire, Create, & Share group again.  If you’ve hopped with us before you know you are going to see some great ideas for FREE Sale-a-bration products today!

My first card uses Old Olive ink for the outline image.  The inside image color is 2^nd Generation (which is when you ink the stamp but stamp once on a scrap paper then onto your project resulting in a lighter color) in Bermuda Bay.  The bow is colored with the Bermuda Bay ink pad, the leaves and stems with Old Olive ink pad, also 2nd generation.    The background is Bermuda Bay card stock (cs) onto of Think Whisper White cs base. The pretty border is cut from Vellum cs using the Decorative Ribbon Boarder. The ribbon is another Sale-a-bration product; Shimmer Ribbon Pack (3 colors).

The second project base is a Very Vanilla-Note Card (& envelopes).  The image is stamped onto Watercolor Paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The inside is colored with Brusho Crystal Color using a painter’s palette, a drop of water, and Aqua Painters.  See the video below for a quick demo.  (For those who are following my progress, the video also includes my Weight Watchers update at the end)
