Bold Butterfly

I am going to miss this group of products!  Another Last Chance opportunity for you  The Watercolor Wings stamp set has a beautiful collection of butterflies as well as great sentiments and a few ‘background’ type images. The first card also uses the Fluttering Textured Impression Embossing Folder (TIEF), a perfect accessory for this stamp set.

I am not sure if you can see this well in the photo, however, I did attached the 3.75" x 4" Bermuda Bay to the Whisper White (3.75" x 1.5") card stocks before I ran them through the Big Shot with the Fluttering TIEF. 

The second card is a throwback.  I have shared this one before, however, it seemed appropriate to add it to this post.

Painted Glass - Sneak Peak

I am having so much fun playing with NEW Stampin' Up! products!  My card uses a sneak peak of three of them;  the Painted Glass stamp set, the Stained Glass Thinlits Dies and the Graceful Glass Vellum.

 
To create my card I started by using one of the Stained Glass Thinlits Dies which is cut from Coastal Cabana card stock, a beautiful returning color.  I sniped the shape so I could stretch it behind the circle that I created next.

By coloring one part of one of the sheets of vellum using Stampin’ Write Markers (Coastal Cabana, Pumpkin Pie, Pear Pizzazz, Flirty Flamingo, and Pineapple Punch).  I used the Layering Circles Framelits to cut the vellum as well as piece of Whisper White card stock which I placed behind the vellum and adhered over the cut die cut above using Stampin' Dimensionals. 

I added a few of the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to the right of the card front.  The words come from two stamps (Reason to CELEBRATE and Thank YOU) both are in the Painted Glass stamp set.  Using Stampin’ Write Markers, I colored just the words I wanted from each stamp.

The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed (above) or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. I share my wild(?) side in the video below.

Below are the photos for my alternative card from the video.  The openings tuck behind an accent piece help keep it closed.   Each opening is like a little surprise for the receiver.
