One of my wonderful downline, Michele Slater (she's in the photo's below too), shared this adorable idea with us at our last team meeting. It's so cute that I just had to share with all of you . . .
It's made with a lollipop (tootsie pops work best), some craft paper or paper bag and a little ribbon.
Cut two 6 inch circles from craft paper fold together into a triangle so you can snip a small hole in the center of the circle. Here's Michele creating at our meeting...Yep...she IS as nice as she looks!
Unfold the circle and cut random slits toward the center, but leaving about a 3" circle of the center uncut. This creates the brooms straw. Crinkle up the circle to give the straw volume. Color the paper stick of the lollipop, mine is Basic Black, and insert through the center hole of the craft paper. Twist the circle down over the candy and twist the non-cut part around the candy's stick. Then tie a fun ribbon like our Striped Satin ribbon (Holiday Catalog) around it to hold it in place. That's it. Simple huh? This could also be used to encourage your kids to clean up...change the ribbon and viola! It's just an everyday broom. Put on a note that says 'clean your room'. Making chores fun can mean they get done more often! Until Next Time . . .

Message is from: Owl City & Adam Yount
Come
back again for more creative Stampin’ ideas . . .
Remember that Special Stampin' Up! Workshop I did back in early September? Well, one of the perks for those guests who attended was a gift from SU. Each guest got a free Annual Catalog & Hoiday Catalog. That's nice enough, but they were wrapped together with about 48 inches of 7/8" Cotton Ribbon, it's YUMMY! You can find that in the Holiday Catalog.
Clipped to the front of the book was the cutest flower. I knew I would have to share with you this adorable idea.
Front....below is the side and back views
The pieces are cut from the Flower Punch & 1/2" Circle Punch. All clued together using our Multipurpose Liquid Glue and, of course, a regular paper clip! Cute huh?
Here's what the wrapped book looked like
It doesn't seem like it would be that much ribbon, but it's wrapped around twice....totally gonna steal this idea for my Hostess Lunch next spring. They love that they get the new catalog first and now it will be even more special!

Here's a fun idea. Create a quick brag book for yourself, or a friend. It's created using the awesome Stampin' Up! clear envelopes (you get 50 for just $4.50). The top (seal tab) is cut off and it makes a great little 4 x 5 sleeve for photos. Holes are punched and feed through 1.25" rings from an office supply store.
Here are some page ideas to start your creative process.
The Midnight Muse card stock is inside the envelope, while
the title banner is on the outside (use Sticky Strip to hold in place).
I love how Jen added 1/2" punched out dots from different colors of card stock to the Summer Starfruit with white dot paper. Nice touch huh? The 'E' is also on the outside of the envelope. Cute Kid too!
Like the strip? It's also done with card stock! 1/2" wide.
Tag is hand cut w/circle punched for reinforcement and of course those cute hearts down the side. I don't know who the Barton Family is...but they are cute aren't they?!
Like that "B"? It's simple. The letter was cut using the Big Shot and the Typeset Alphabet. Lay the cut letter onto Whisper White card stock and spray the color over the top using any color you want to make with a re-inker, some rubbing alchol and our cool new Stampin' Spritzer. You get TWO for just $2.95 WOW! Just take off the letter when your done and VIOLA!
These samples were created by Jen from SU Corporate. THANKS JEN!! I hope they inspired you to make your own cute brag book!

I
am excited to welcome you to my fifth and final post of World Card Making Day! 11:59
PM through Sunday!
This
card is my all-time favorite card right now (you how that changes when you make your next all time favorite).
I created it after taking over a week off from stamping! YIKES!
But I am glad I did that because I was re-energized and my creative
brain was happy again! LOL There is one thing about this card - - - it did
take a while to create, mostly because of the stitching. I needed to stitch through several layers, as you can
see, so it was a little harder, even with pre-pierced holes! Still, all good things take time. I hope you like this one as much as I do!

PM until 11:59 PM
This
fun card was created for one of my clubs and the girls loved it so much that I
decided to add to today’s posts.
The technique is pretty simple, just place all four pieces of Designer Series Paper next to each other inside the Textured Embossing Folder running them through the Big Shot at the same time. Then adhere them to your card front. You will also notice the I drew the stitches on freehand using a Stampin' Write Marker. The rest I think you can figure out through the supplies list. However, if you have questions my contact information is below.

This
technique is so cool. Many of us have
done the “Ol’ Rubber bands on a Brayer” technique, but this…this is with rubber
bands on an old Stampin’ Round Wheel!
The video will give the ‘how to’ but I am hooked! It is so much easier to wheel because the color
never fades in the design like it can when you use a brayer & ink pad. Of course once you remove the rubber bands
you can’t get the design to be exactly the same ever again, but isn’t that part
of the fun?

AM – 11:59 AM
For
my second card sample I wanted to showcase a card I created for another video I
made. I love it and have recreated it a
few times now for different friend’s birthdays, and even once for a college
graduation! It looks good in a variety
of colors so I hope you’ll give it a try too!
The ‘bead’ is super simple, check out the video for details.

Here’s
a fun card I created for my Hostess Luncheon last spring. I know this photo makes it looks very
crooked, but it’s only half as off as it looks LOL. Also, I created a video on how to color in
our edgelits to get the Gable Green on the embossed edge. Be sure to scroll down to watch!
Supplies:
Stamp
Set: Betsy’s Blossoms (W #126004 C-#126006)
Card Stock: Gable Green (#126840) and Whisper White (#100730)

Do you ever want to take just a little something to your family member's house to say "Thank You for hosting the family dinner this year"? Here's a simple project that you can make and snap, but your family member will be touched that you thought of her (or him).
The old olive card stock is cut 9" x 5". Scored at 4", 4.5" & 8.5". Cut window using the Labels Framelit die. Fill a cello bag (stamped using the Woodgrain background stamp and White Stazon ink) with nuts, or other goodies, and place inside fold. Seal at top tucking the 1/2" smallest fold inside and adhering with Sticky Strip. The leaves were cut from the Autumn Accents die (holiday catalog) and embossed with the woodgrain textured embossing folder (also in holiday). The For You and it's background come for the Mixed Medley Hostess Set (again, the holiday catalog). The ribbon is Satin stitched in Summer Starfruit and held on with a clothes pin from a big box store.
This was another idea for the Special Stampin' Up! Workshop I did last month (so ...no my design! Thanks to Jen of SU Corporate!!)
