This fun card was CASE’d (Copy And Stamp Everything) from a sample on a flyer created by Stampin’ Up! When I saw it I knew I had to make for myself.
The card base is Mint Macaron card stock (CS). I used
the same color of ink to stamp the 4-flower image from the Love What You Do stamp
set and the sentiment was created from the Make A Difference stamp set. The oval is from Grapefruit Grove cs using the
Stitched Shapes Framelits, behind that is half of a Pearlized Doily. The strip of Designer Series Paper (DSP) and
the fussy cut flowers are from the Share What You Love DSP and, lastly, I used
the Silver & Pool Party Baker’s Twine, which you might think would be too
different, but it worked!
To make the envelope flap - trace the flap on the reverse side of the DSP then cut out. Use the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to ensure full coverage to the flap. This will help it stay in place if you plan to mail it.
Remember, we do not need to re-invent
every card we create, especially when Stampin’ Up! shares the idea! I’d love to see your version! Share some of your designs on my Facebook
page www.Facebook.com/MemoryINKers/
Until Next time . . .
Hugs, Karie B.
