Spooky Kitty
I rarely send Halloween cards;
however, it is my daughter & son-in-law’s favorite reason to have a party! So, I thought I would send them a card this
year.
I created this fun card using the
Burlap background stamp, Making Every Day Bright & Itty Bitty Greetings
stamp sets and the Christmas Bulb, Cat, & Everyday Label Punches.
You can make the card with, or
without, the ‘glow’ to the bulbs, which are stamped & embossed with black
powder on Vellum. I colored the back
with Stampin’ Write Markers before punching them out. The bulb base is Basic Black card stock and
all is applied to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To make the cat shiny I inked up
a piece of Basic Black card stock with VersaMark ink before embossing with
clear powder. Once dry, I cut it out with the Cat Punch, added some Silver
Metallic Thread for the whiskers, under a tiny cut out triangle of what was
left of the Basic Black embossed card stock.
The eyes and necklace pendant are made from Basic Jewels Clear Rhinestones, with Mini Sequin Trim for the base. I
colored the eyes & ‘ruby’ with Blends markers before I added them. The cat is also adhered with Stampin’
Dimensionals.
I hope you’ll come back again – I
will be sharing a lot more on my Facebook Page so I hope you will CLICK HERE
and follow me! I am off to Stampin’ Up!
OnStage next week so . . . Lots To Share!!!
Until next time . . .
Hugs, Karie B.
