Sunday School

General Conference
Highlights
(from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints)

This weekend members of my faith around the world are spending today, and yesterday, listening to different leaders of our church (men & women) give 'talks' about essential Gospel principles.  You might think that listening to four 2-hour sessions over two days would get boring....but these wonderful speakers always add in some fun anecdotes to keep the lessons interesting.   I found the compilation of funny parts of talks entertaining.  I hope you will too.  Remember each speaker went on to talk about vital principles as well.

After this video plays use caution in following other
YouTube videos that may cast a shadow and drive
away the Spirit from your Sabbath day.

If you'd like to see what I am watching this weekend, check out BYUTV.com and search for LDS General Conference.  It will air live at Noon & 4 PM (EST)

A Happy Accident

One more Envelope

Yesterday's post showed the "Mom" envelope.  What you don't know is that I started out thinking I would make it with the Attic Boutique DSP.  When I cut it out I had planned to use the Pool Party color side of the paper...but look what happened when I made the envelope the other way...

Front                                    Back

Now you see why I said this was a 'happy accident'!  I fell in love with the envelope and knew I had to create a card to go with it.  Here's my card:

These accidental wonderful outcomes are what makes paper crafting such a fun hobby!  Here are a few final photos for you today...

See you tomorrow . . .
