Stamp of the Month Club
I am happy to be joining with the
Stray Ducks again for another Blog Waddle.
I hope you enjoy the projects with this groups. We were given the opportunity to create
anything we wanted for this hop.
I decided to share with you the
projects my Stamp of the Month Club will be making this coming Saturday. This month’s stamp set is Happy Birthday
Gorgeous with the option to order the bundle which includes the Happy Birthday
Thinlit. I had a lot of fun working with
these products and I hope you enjoy them.
Balloon Bundle
I love how the subtle dots are just enough to
highlight a white balloon. All of the
balloons were cut by using the smaller shape from the Balloon Bouquet
Punch. I love, love, love the Happy
Birthday thinlit. I think I will be
using this for a long time to come!
White on White
I love that that the Happy
Birthday Gorgeous stamp set has two size of flowers. The smaller flowers were perfect for this
design. In order to know where to place
the flowers on the lower word, Birthday, I cut out one layer of the words and
traced it onto another piece of Whisper White card stock. This gave me the basic location of where to
stamp. Then I cut out the shape again
and adhere the now stamped words on top of the previous cut shape. This gave the words the depth that helped it
stand out on the card front. To tie the
bow I cut a slit in the fold of the card and pushed the ribbon through and around the front of the card.
Fun Flowers
This fun and colorful card was so
simple to make. Stampin’ the flowers
from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set in bright colors creates cheerful
greeting on the Whisper White card stock.
The Basic Black card stock and ink makes the card pop.
It's Your Day!
I thought I would try another
version of the card above using darker colors.
The flowers were stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock which I matted
with Rose Red. The card base is Marina
Mist. All of the flowers and leaves that
have a base color were made using the 2nd generation technique with
the full color as over it.
