Amazing Life - Stampers By The Dozen Blog Hop

C.A.S.E
Copy And Stamp Everything

I am happy that you are joining us for another Stampers By The Dozen Blog Hop.  I know you will find a lot of wonderful ideas shared today.  Our theme this month was to C.A.S.E. a catalog idea.  When you do this you do not have to recreate the idea exactly, although that is perfectly acceptable (Why reinvent the wheel?).

The card I have C.A.S.E.’d is found on page 29 of the 2019 Occasions Catalog. I’ve circled the project in the above photo.  As you can see below, I did not copy it exactly, but not too differently either.

I used the stamp set, Amazing Life for the sentiment, which I stamped on Whisper White card stock.  You can see that I stamped the “to have you in my” banner section of the image a second time on Granny Apple Green card stock and cut it out by hand to apply over the original image (both stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink).  The flowers were fussy cut and added to the card front with either SNAIL Adhesive or Stampin’ Dimensionals and topped with Basic Jewels (Clear Rhinestone).

On the front is the ‘oh so pretty’ Reversible Ribbon which I twisted when I added it to the card so it would show both sides.

I created the Coastal Cabana frame using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (part of a bundle with the Amazing Life stamp set!) Of course I could have just cut the Whisper White card stock with them, however, I wanted to show you can make a true frame with these dies because they ‘stitch’ both sides of the cut.

I love to decorate the inside of the card and this is one of my favorites. The stamp set has the fun border image that is perfect for this!  I wanted to add some shine to the center of the flower so it would match the front of the card, however, I knew a rhinestone would be too bulky. Instead I used just dab of liquid glue and a sprinkle of Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

Now, let’s see what Judi has to share with you!
