Amazing Birthday!
I used
the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the Sale-a-bration
catalog. It’s a beautiful grouping of
color and black & white images that you can get absolutely FREE with a minimum
order of $50 in products. Awesome right!?!
I used the dot/line framelit (not sure what else to call it) from the
Hummingbird Framelits Dies to cut the shape from one corner of the DSP. I added
the ribbon before adhering it to the card front.
I stamped
two of the flower images in Memento ink before coloring using the Stampin’
Blends Markers. I used the coordinating
framelit to cut them out then trimmed the stem off one of them. The whole image was adhered to card front
and the trimmed flower was added over it using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I inked just the stamen and colored it with
blends before fussy cutting it and adding it to the center of the flower over
the popped up flower image. It’s hard to tell,
but I put the top of the stamen on with a dimensional while using SNAIL
Adhesive to adhere the bottom of it’s stalk. In person it really lifts off the
page.
The
sentiment was heat embossed using VersaMark ink and Basic - Stampin' Emboss Powder before cutting out the shape with the awesome label
included in the framelits set. When you
cut this out it leaves the little scallop shapes which I then adhered to a piece
of Whisper White card stock and added it to the inside of the card.
This card
uses two items from the Sale-a-bration catalog, sadly one of them (the ribbon)
is no longer available, however, you can use different ribbon, or no
ribbon at all, to recreate this card.
