Christmas Greetings

Don't you just love making Holiday Cards?  

I mean I love making all cards, but holiday cards are special.  Below are two cards I created for a Swap I participated in with other Stampin’ Up! leaders.

The sample below uses the Embellished Ornaments Bundle (Stamps & Framelits, page 15 in the Holiday Catalog), as well as the Elegant Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (page 174 in the Share the Fun full-line Catalog).

This next cards uses the Reason For The Season stamp set (page 31 in the Holiday Catalog).  The strings behind the poinsettia are the ones I pulled when I frayed the pretty Bermuda Bay stripped Ribbon (page 158 in the Share the Fun full-line Catalog).  I hope they help to inspire you with your Holiday Creations.    

Below I am sharing cards that I did not create, I just love them.  They were part of a Demonstrator Swap I participated in with the cards I created above.  These cards were a featured in my Holiday Card Making Class last month.  I wanted to be sure to share them to you. I love them, did I mention that already?

Wedding Album 3

This is the last of the pages from my daughter's wedding album.  They are from their reception which was held in a ski lodge in a state park.  It was a large open room and perfectly fit everyone and every thing you need for a good time.  The homespun decor made by Britnie & Paul gave the room a cozy feel even those it was so spacious.

From the wine corks to hold the place cards and cut slices of a tree trunk under the center pieces, to the table numbers (OK, I made those, but they adhered them to the bottles), to the table runners & chair bows.  They are adventurous and outdoorsy.  It could not have represented them better if a professional had decorated for them.

I love the idea below.  The park was planning to replace a few

of the table benches and let them have one.  They used the bench

as their 'guestbook' which has since been varnished and is now 

in the new home they bought just a few months ago!

There were so busy with working, planning the wedding,

creating the decor, that the first dance practice never happened.

They had so much fun just laughing and loving each other

through the entire song.  It was very enduring.

Project Life divided pages filled with snapshots of friends.

l've been told you should always have some black and white photos taken every year because they are supposed to last the longest.

Wedding Album 2

Hello Again,

Here are more pages from my daughters wedding album. Most of these pictures were taken by the professional photographer.  The first few pages are all taken in the back yard of my son in law's parents.  They have a beautiful location don't you think?
