It’s Day 5 of Theme Week and I’m back
with another Fast and Easy Birthday Card!
1 – Fold a 4.25” x 5.5” piece of Thick Whisper White card stock in half
to create the card base.
2 – Adhere a 3.75” x 5” piece of Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series
Paper (S-DSP) to a 4” x 5.25” piece of Silver Foil paper.
3 – Using Silver Thread, tie two of the paper tassels from the Sweet
Soiree Embellishment Kit to the Silver 3/8” Metallic-Edge Ribbon. Hint, don’t tie too tight.
4 – To help the tassels stay where you want them add Fast Fuse on the riverside
of the ribbon before adhering to the left side of the DSP/card stock
combination.
5 – Adhere the above the card front.
6 – Ink the Marbled Background stamp with Marina Mist ink. Using the ‘Kiss” technique press the cake
stamp onto the background stamp, then stamp the cake onto a scrap of Whisper
White card stock.
7 – Cut out the cake using the Big Shot Machine and the Sweet Cake Framelits.
9 – Add the appropriate number(s) from the embellishment kit to the cake
top before adhering to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
10 – Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of 1” x 2.25” of Whisper White card
stock using Basic Black Archive ink.
11 – Adhere the above to a piece of 1.25” x 2.5” piece of Silver Foil
Paper.
