Celebrate You Thinlits
With the Holidays
over, you may feel like the excitement has ended. Nope! Not with Stampin’ Up! Starting January
3rd through March 31st is our annual Sale-a-bration
Event!
A time when you can earn FREE PRODUCTS by placing a minimum order. Today I am participating in a Blog Hop with
other demonstrators. We are all sharing projects
using Sale-a-bration products that are available this year.
This year you can have two levels of products to
choose from. As in the past, you can
choose from a variety of products when you place a $50 product order. However, these year we have two options for a
$100 product purchase. Of those, I picked
the Celebrate You Thinlits to showcase
because I am Love word Thinlits. This set has three words; Celebrate, Amazing,
and You. I only used two of the words this time, however, watch future posts to
see more ideas with this fun set and many others!
In each of the samples I cut the words out three times. Once in the Foil or Shimmer papers, and twice in a coordinating card stock.
The two card stock layers are adhered directly on top of each other,
while the words cut in the specialty papers is adhered slightly off to give the
words a shadow and help them stand out even move on the cards.
The card backgrounds were all created using the new
Brusho Crystal Color available in the New Occasion Catalog on page 26.
While the party supplies came from the Picture
Perfect Party 6”x6” Designer Series Paper. I mounted each item onto Whisper
White card stock before fussy cutting them out.
I needed them to be stable when I covered them with VersaMark and then Clear
Embossing Powder. While the embossing was
hot, I dropped them into Dazzling Diamonds glitter to give them just a touch of
sparkle.
