This month’s projects are so
adorable and are perfect to use with a little Thank You card and/or gift when
you go to one of the inevitable barbeques we all get invited to this time of year.
Add a gift card and they would also make a
great gift for the kid down the street who cuts your lawn, the person who cuts
your hair, does your mani-pedi, walks your dog….well, the list is endless.
Today, however, is about what
else you can do with your Paper Pumpkin Kit this month. I like the little gift cards; however, I know
that we don’t always need a 3” x 3” card so, my alternative takes the pieces in
the kit to create this full-size card.
The card base is made with Thick Whisper White card stock. The Lemon Lime Twist plaid is from the tissue papers that came from the kit. I used the included stamps to decorate the front of the envelope. I
had enough of the tissue paper left from the card front sheet to line the top part of the envelope. I
used the die available in the Beautiful Layers Thinlits set.
The Poppy Parade plaid (shown in Lemon Lime Twist) is from the inside of the 3" envelopes that came from the kit. I took it apart carefully then cut what I needed, 2.75" squared, and then used snips to fussy cut the label from the front of the same envelope.
